Quite pale hue, pink with purplish rim. Gently roasted and spicy fragrance leads to a soft berry flavour which is accompanied by moderate tannins without much astringency or bitterness. The result is a lighter style of Grosses Gewächs that may be enjoyed earlier than some of its more compact competitors.
