AP number 13 20. Julian started with this vineyard in 2018 – a parcel from a friend he met when he was apprenticed to Klaus Peter Keller 10 years ago. Lifted nose and less brutal than the Goldtröpfchen. But still pungent with a hint of ginger beer. At the moment there's a little bitterness on the finish that rather disconcerts me and dissuades me from giving a higher score even though there is clearly massive ambition here.
