Medium ruby colour with purple rim. A seductive fragrance combines smoky and savoury aromas with the scent of fruits of the forest. On the palate the Schlossberg is generous in its presentation of juicy red and black berries, but a pronounced taste of roasted flavours and a solid tannic backbone show that Joachim Heger firmly puts his faith in 2011 as a long distance project.
