The fragrance of the Frühlingsplätzchen is not just about ripe yellow fruit, adding intrigue with some fine floral notes and a hint of green herbs. On the palate it appears a little softer and sweeter than in previous vintages, although there is enough acidity and minerality to keep the flavour fresh and cool. Very elegant style of Grosses Gewächs that shuns exaggeration of its inherent qualities.
