The nose is much 'sweeter' and more fragrant than either of the joint-venture 2016 Mosel Rieslings. It tastes as though there were a little balancing sweetness here. No sign of oak but this wine has extract and substantial grip on the finish. Classic fine off-dry Mosel with a really long, tingly finish.
Red slate and, of course, hand-picked on this slope! Fermented with ambient yeast in oak and aged on lees for 12 months.
