Pale cloudy gold. The fruit character is such that you feel you can smell the acidity – there’s an aroma of bitter orange and quince and very ripe yellow plums and pears. This has to be the most intense and intensely sweet but balanced wine I have ever tasted. Concentration, depth and fresh intensity. So clean cut in its pure freshness even with that viscosity. A bitter orange zest that keeps the sweetness in harmony.
No botrytis. Harvest completed 25 October.
