Pale raspberry red with purple tinge. Still a little lactic at this infant stage, but with some gentle spicy aromas and a deft little touch of cedar wood. On the palate notes of sandalwood and spices rule the early roost, but leave enough room for some fine cherry fruit to slip through until astringency takes over and advises the impatient drinker that time is needed for the tactile tannins to mellow.
